The Black Philanthropy initiative of the Winston-Salem Foundation has awarded grants in the amount of $17,000 to support two elementary school programs and two colleges in the community.
The grants will be utilized for school projects such as helping minority students fill out higher education applications, enhancing skills, write news, gain access to audio books, and more.
