The Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley will give out a total of $100,000 for its 2012 Grant Award Competition. This grants program is made possible by the growing donations they receive from throughout the area.
Recipients will be nonprofit organizations that focus on to early childhood education, land use and protection, and workforce development to show support to the foundation's initiative.
