KansasCity.com reports that the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation has appointed Deborah Wilkerson to succeed Laura McKnight as its chief executive of the philanthropic organization. McKnight worked in the foundation for 11 years and has headed it for the last six.
The community foundation was established in 1978 and has since grown to house assets of $1.16 billion in about 3,000 individual funds. The philanthropic accounts support grants to the nonprofit community.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, an agreement signed by 34 banks, including the original eight of the nation’s leading banks, that covered nine key areas: environmental and social risk management, environmental and social footprint, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, environmental and social governance, capacity building, collaborative partnerships and reporting.
