About 100 people gathered in the new pavilion to learn more about how the 100 acres on Oak Hill were donated.
Wooster Mayor Bob Breneman thanked the community and donors, which include Donald and Alice Noble Foundation, who purchased the 100 acres on Oak Hill in order to preserve it from becoming a residential development site.
