Johnathan Logan is taking a job with the Marin Community Foundation.
Logan has been a force behind Marin City projects, including a health and wellness center, community park and teen center.
Logan will join the foundation in the position of special assistant to President Thomas Peters.
"I'm very excited, but it is bittersweet," said Logan, 35, whose last day was Friday.
