Professor Di Pierro holds seven posts, all while actively researching and developing pharmaceutical and nutraceutical innovations.
With a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, he has also trained thousands of healthcare professionals through CME-accredited courses.
One of his main focuses is tackling antibiotic resistance and developing safe, effectiveNutraceutical solutions.
He is currently working on the development of engineered bacterial strains that have greater performance and capacity for antagonism towards pathogens.
