Circular construction is about rethinking how we build, renovate, and repurpose urban spaces.

By extending the life of building materials from existing structures the hope is to reduce waste generated by the renovation process.

The benefits of circular construction go beyond sustainability they also present economic advantages if reusing materials can lower costs.

Uppsala's participation in the Pilot Cities Programme connects it to a network of European cities committed to climate action.
