Foundation: Atlantic Philanthropies
Laughing Gull Foundation in Durham, North Carolina, started by funding higher education programs in prisons.
It has since evolved into a foundation that fully embraces its progressive ethos across additional areas like climate and the environment, LGBTQ equality and racial justice.
