Democrat Loses to Republican by Narrow Margin in District 2 Ottawa County Board Race

Republican Jordan Jorritsma has won the District 2 seat on the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners.

The race pitted Democrat Chris Kleinjans, 56, against Republican newcomer Jordan Jorsrissma, 26.

District 2 covers Holland Township Precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 11, as well as Park township Precinct 4.
