Those are the words of Mona Legin, a safety officer for Covia Foods, in a blog post about the company's latest safety innovations.
Those include wearable safety sensors, as well as "digital workplace inspections," in which workers at certain Covia locations will be subjected to safety checks via smartphone.
The sensors "can better utilize data to understand what’s happening so we can modify our programs or policies to better protect our team," Legin says in the post.
"A safe work environment comes down to workplace culture," she adds.
