If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to be a professional singer-songwriter, you're in luck.

The Charlotte Observer reports Taylor Dee, aka Dr. Taylor Dee, is a children's author, educator, entrepreneur, and YouTube star who's written more than 45 educational songs and has two studio albums to her name.

She's also been cast in the main stage of the Charlotte Children's Theatre for the 2024-2025 season, according to her website.

Dee, who has a doctorate in curriculum and instruction and a master's in youth development leadership from Clemson University, says she wants to inspire creativity and help children unlock their own natural gifts.

"We all have great work to be doingthe time to do it is now," she says.
