"If you come here at 7am, you will catch me sitting on my bed, staring at my phone for 30 minutes looking at friends' Instagram stories."
That's how the Los Angeles Times describes Dylan Huey, a social media "influencer" who's gained more than 2 million followers and released more than 15 songs since he was 16.
Huey, who graduated from the University of Southern California in 2024 with a minor in music industry, says he's been "running on two hours of sleep every day for three or four years" and has "never had coffee in my life."
He's "very responsive and pride myself on taking less than five minutes to text back unless I'm in a final exam or other situations when I genuinely can't get to my phone," he tells the Times.
"I eat two meals a day, typically breakfast/lunch and dinner," he says.
"But I don't cook, just DoorDash.
I took what I learned in class, including skill sets and values, and applied it to my company."
