Starbucks is known for its customer-centric approach, but the coffee giant is also known for its giving.
In fact, the company has donated more than $1 million to more than 100 charities over the last 15 years, including the Boys and Girls Club of America, Habitat for Humanity, and Save the Children, the New York Times reports.
"We want to give back to the community in the way that we can," says CEO Howard Schultz.
"That's why we created the Boys and Girls Club of America, and why we created Save the Children.
We want to give back to the communities in which we do business."
Starbucks isn't the only company to do so.
The Forbes Agency Council, which is exclusively for executives in successful public relations and advertising, has a list of 10 companies that have "positive impact" on their brands.
