The Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has named two organizations as recipients of its 2024 Health Equity Awards, which honor those that have shown a "strong commitment to health equity by reducing disparities affecting vulnerable populations."
Latino Connection in Pennsylvania and Augusta Health in Virginia were named for their efforts to reduce disparities in health care access, quality, and outcomes.
