The Wilmington Rotary Club recently heard from Alison Belfrage, executive director of the Clinton County Foundation, about the group's work in the area of health and wellness, education, and economic development.
"We try to focus on three areas: health and wellness, education, and economic development," she said, per the News Journal.
"We try to make a long-term, positive impact on the community."
Among the foundation's projects: the Clinton County Health Center, which will offer free health care to low-income residents; the Clinton County Public Library, which will offer free after-school programs; and the Clinton County Senior Center, which will offer free lunches.
