Sara Pantuliano is the CEO of the Overseas Development Institute, a not-for-profit that focuses on humanitarian programs in developing countries.
She's also the chair of the seventh advisory group of the UN Secretary-General's Peacebuilding Fund, and per a press release, she's the editor-in-chief of the Linkedin Disasters journal, a trustee of the board of Muslim Aid, and a member of the UN High-Level Group on Humanitarian and Resilience Investing initiative of the World Economic Forum.
"Sara and Greg's expertise and experiences promise to bring fresh perspectives and strengthen CDP's efforts to support communities in times of crisis," says Tiffany Benjamin, CEO of Humana Foundation, which sits on the Center for Disaster Philanthropy's board.
Chan, meanwhile, has more than 20 years of industry experience, including time at Microsoft, Amazon, and Akoya, where he's currently chief technology officer.
The CDP, a Washington, DC-based not-for-profit that works with corporations, foundations, and individuals to support communities in times of disaster, says in a statement that Chan and Pantuliano "promise to bring fresh perspectives and strengthen CDP's efforts to support communities in times of crisis."
