Foundation: Nebraska Community Foundation
The 17 Canadians (primarily from Newfoundland and Labrador) traveled by bus and made stops in eight Nebraska communities.
Their goal was to learn more about the asset-based community development (ABCD) practices used by the Nebraska Community Foundation.
They visited Boone County Ag & Education Center, Niewohner Arena, Boone Beginnings Child Care and Family Development Center, Applied Connective Technologies, and HWY 14 Brewing Company.
