The Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation and the Arkansas Community Foundation are offering a total of $1 million in grants to African-American or under-served nonprofits in the state, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
The money is available to "nonprofits with programs focusing on education, youth development, strengthening families and economic development," according to a press release.
Interested parties can apply online through April.

"Typically, our grants range from $1,000 to $2,500, but may approach $5,000 in special circumstances."
