The Ameritas Charitable Foundation has awarded $262,000 in grants to nine Nebraska nonprofit organizations, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
According to the foundation's website, the grants are awarded to groups "that develop community wellness areas, such as education, financial stability, health services, arts and culture, and sustainability."
The nine organizations are: America's Dentists Care Foundation in Wichita, Kansas Center for Legal Immigration Assistance in Lincoln, Nebraska Friendship Home in Omaha, Nebraska Junior Achievement of Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska Lincoln Community Foundation, Lincoln Vital Signs in Lincoln, Nebraska Nebraska Impact in Lincoln, Nebraska Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ashland, Nebraska TeamMates in Lincoln, Nebraska $30,000 over three years The Malone Center in Lincoln, Nebraska $25,000 Wayne State Foundation in Wayne, Nebraska...
