About Us
The Board of Trustees of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation has awarded awards totalling $947,580.
Seven responsive grants, three president's discretionary awards, and 139 donor-advised fund grants are included in this total.
President and CEO Brian Treece expressed gratitude for the Foundation's 30th anniversary gifts, saying, "As we begin our 30th year, I am continuously thankful to the hundreds of wonderful benefactors who have joined forces with the Foundation to make these grants possible." " Over the course of 30 years, we've given out more than $70 million and made countless lives better.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of influence these new funds will have in the not too distant future.
The Community Foundation provides responsive grants to nonprofit organizations that are working to solve community needs and whose goals, objectives, and priorities align with those of the Foundation.
Discretionary grants are used to finance requests that are urgent or one-time in nature and fall outside of the Community Foundation's regular award rounds.
Every year, a certain sum is provided to the president of the Community Foundation.
Donor-advised grants - A total of $803,996 in donor-advised grants was granted to 84 organizations, for a total of 139 awards.
