Porter County Commissioners Pledge $150,000 Funds to Combat Drugs
Foundation: Porter County Community Foundation
The Porter County Board of Commissioners have pledged $150,000 in local income tax revenue for 2013-15 to Empower Porter County, which was raised from the Porter County Community Foundation.
The sizable amount of tax dollars will serve to support the fight against drugs. Porter County Commissioner Laura Blaney, D-South, said there is widespread involvement in the Empower effort.
