Marin's Marginalized Communities Drawn Into Climate Change Action Plan

Drawdown Marin is using a $126,451 equity grant to include communities of color in its mission to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

The grant will be used to hire community ambassadors who will be paid $300 over three months.

High school and college students who are actively advocating for environmental justice are being targeted as potential candidates.

The Canal Alliance serves low-income, immigrant communities to provide social, legal and educational services for youth and adults.
