The Barberton Community Foundation approves a $225,000 grant for a bridge project connecting Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail to downtown Barberton.
The grant will come from the Foundation's reserve account. Mayor Bill Judge hopes to have construction begin this year. Judge said the project will improve the quality of life among Barberton residents who use the towpath or the Robinson Avenue Bridge.
