Foundation: Community Foundation of Western North Carolina
The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina's Asheville Merchants Fund handed $335,000 to seven Buncombe County nonprofit groups.
The grants aim to support innovative projects that inspire economic development and encourage stronger community participation. According to the foundation's press release, the Asheville Merchants Fund hopes to foster a stronger economy through community development and entrepreneurship.
