The Pitt Meadows Foundation presented Dolores Lutner with the 2012 Pitt Meadows Citizen of the Year and part of the criteria is someone who makes a contribution to improving the quality of life for a person, family, school or the community.
Lutner has been a member of the Pitt Meadows Foundation for more than 10 years and is active in its fundraising efforts. She has also been a member of the citizen of the year selection committee for a number of years.
