The Community Foundation of South Alabama has recently awarded funds in the amount of $161,098 to Boat People SOS in order to help them launch a program called Bayou HOPE — Harmony, Opportunity, Perseverance and Empowerment.
The primary purpose of the program is to provide leadership and extracurricular activities for the members of the youth who are currently at-risk.
