A 2008 University of Pennsylvania Study titled aThe Impact of Art on Civic Engagement found that communities with vibrant and accessible arts programming yield higher numbers of voters, witness greater rates of volunteerism, and attract more visitors.
The Vibrant Communities Initiative is sponsored by the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
