School District Receives $10000 Lakota Education Grant
Foundation: South Dakota Community Foundation, Bush Foundation
Hot Springs School District wins a Community Innovation Grant for $10,000.
The grant is designed to bridge the racial disparity gap within the school district.
Three solutions will be implemented: community outreach, student cultural advocacy/education and integration.
The others were: Custer Economic Development Corporation in Custer, Hope in Life in Rapid City and Community Services Connections of the Black Hills.
