Okey Anueyiagu… a Peep into the Life of a Philanthropist, Writer and Entrepreneur

The son of one of Nigeria's most revered nationalists, Chukwuma Anueyiagu, says his father's death in 2014 left him little time to reflect on his own lifebut he's determined to see his father's legacy through.

Anueyiagu, a professor of political economy, says his father, Zikist leader and entrepreneur Chukwuma Anueyiagu, taught him "that peace and simplicity are closely intertwined," the Guardian reports.

"He said he learned many lessons from his father, including the belief that a simple life is the most successful and powerful," Anueyiagu says.

"In addition, he said he learned many lessons from his father, including the belief that a simple life is the most successful and powerful."

The younger Anueyiagu says his father, who died at the age of 100, was "a great Zikist, renowned editor of five different newspapers, great nationalist, leader and entrepreneur" who "led a life free of hate, hurriedness and clutter."
