If you're planning on attending college in the fall, now's the time to get in touch with the Spencer County Community Foundation.
The nonprofit is accepting scholarship applications through Feb. 3, 2023, and it's looking for people who live in the county, have a 3.2 GPA or higher, and plan to attend a two- or four-year college in the US, Canada, or Mexico, reports the Journal & Courier.
Interested parties should go to spencercountycf.org and click on the " scholarships" link, which will take them to the foundation's website.
The application is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal aspirations, educational goals, and financial need, and doesn't take into account race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin, per the foundation's website.
