White Oak Foundation, Inc. was organized in 1998 in North Carolina to serve Wake, Durham, Chatham, Lee, Harnett, Johnston and Orange counties.
The foundation's mission and purpose is "Caring for the Total Person" through the implementation of programs and projects to address hunger, to promote home ownership and to establish economic self-reliance.
Entrepreneurs Unlocked, a Bolton-based social enterprise, has received National Lottery funding to expand its mentoring program to 200 prison inmates in the Northwest.
