The William Penn Foundation (PA)



The William Penn Foundation was established since 1945 by Otto and Phoebe Haas. They are dedicated in improving the quality of life in the Greater Philadelphia region through efforts that foster rich cultural expression, strengthen children's future, and deepen connections to nature and community.


The foundation envisions an advanced dynamic and diverse region with meaningful opportunities.


Currently, the foundation is i the process of implementing a new strategiv plan that will realign the funding priorities and guide their work for the next 10 years.
