J. Paul Getty Trust

J. Paul Getty considered art to be a big influence in the civilization of the society and he strongly believed in making art available to the public for its education and enjoyment. He founded the Getty Foundation in 2005.

The J. Paul Getty Trust is an international cultural and philanthropic institution that focuses on the visual arts in all dimensions. They serve the public and professional communities in Los Angeles and other communities worldwide.

The Getty Trust has four programs: the Museum, Research Institute, Conservation Institute, and Foundation. They aim to enhance knowledge and critical seeing by growth and presentation of their collection and by promoting understanding and preservation of the world's artistic heritage.
