Community Foundation of Greater New Britain

The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain connects donors who care with causes that matter in Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington.

An independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1941, the Foundation currently invests and administers more than 140 funds with a market value of more than $30 million. We annually distribute approximately $1 million in grants to humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations to make our community a better place to live, work and raise a family.
