Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation



The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is a tax exempt, not-for-profit, autonomous, publicly supported, philanthropic institution. It is organized and operated as a permanent collection of endowment funds for the long-term benefit of the Hancock County area.

The Community Foundation is a vehicle to enhance the quality of life in Hancock County by using a variety of funds entrusted to its stewardship by people, corporations, and organizations of various means to address community problems and opportunities.

The Community Foundation has a broad grant program available to all charitable organizations in Hancock County and serves all portions of the local population.

To address the ongoing issue of student dropouts, Toronto District School Board (TDSB) teacher Craig Morrison started a school-business program called the Oasis Skateboard Factory (OSF) to help keep teens stay in school.
