The Montgomery County Community Foundation was created in 1992. The foundation's governance and administration is maintained by local citizens.
The Montgomery County Community Foundation works with donors to gather the resources to build endowments and work with investment advisors to grow these funds. The foundation uses its experience and expertise to grant the earnings from these funds to nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County.
