The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will expand its Healthy Start program to Ashley, Ouachita and Union counties.
The program provides essential prenatal care services to women and families in south Arkansas.
Since 2019, the institute has served more than 1,700 clients and reduced preterm births among Marshallese communities by more than 3%.
