The amount of money non-profits in Berrien County, Mich., can get from a community foundation has gone up by 50%.
The Berrien Community Foundation has increased the amount of its For Good Grants from $10,000 to $15,000, the Detroit Free Press reports.
"As our assets have grown, it was decided upping the For Good Grants was the best way to serve the community," a BCF board member says.
The foundation also increased the amount of its For Good Minor Grants from $1,000 to $1,500.
The deadline to apply for a For Good Grant in the current cycle is September 30.
