A new scholarship in West Virginia is going to students who are in good academic standing with a documented disability, WV News reports.
The scholarship is named in honor of James A. Womeldorff, who retired as CEO of Job Squad in April 2021.
According to a press release, Womeldorff was a multi-termed board member of Job Squad for more than 15 years.
He would go on to become the director of operations and eventually CEO.
The scholarship is available to students who are pursuing post-secondary education full-time at a trade, vocational, two-year, or traditional four-year college or university.
