Foundation: Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice
Gulf Coast Community Foundation gives Venice 10 bronze shark sculptures.
The sculptures are strategically placed in the Venice island downtown district.
Mayor Ron Feinsod: "This is the type of thing that makes Venice such a special place" The sharks species chosen are blacktip, bonnethead, bull, hammerhead, lemon, Megalodon, nurse, sandbar, snaggletooth and tiger.
