Foundation Awards $300000 in Grants to Flint-Area 2020 Census Efforts
Foundation: Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Ruth Mott Foundation
Grants to Genesee County nonprofits include: $5,000 to Active Boys in Christ to host six educational events regarding the Census.
$6,500 to Arab American Heritage Council to bolster outreach efforts to hard-to-count populations that include immigrants, undocumented people, refugees, people of color and others.
$20,000 for Crim Fitness Foundation to educate constituents, program participants and supporters about the 2020 Census.
