Local Organizations, Programs Get Help From Community Foundation

In the third quarter of 2019, the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties awarded more than $2.25 million in competitive and donor-advised grants.

More than $820,000 was awarded to 12 nonprofits through a competitive grant process.

Among Rome area competitive grant recipients are the Salvation Army of Rome getting $15,000 for the purchase of a new vehicle and Sauquoit Valley Central School receiving $5,000.
