Heart & Soul seeks to enhance clinical indicators for metabolic syndrome among African-Americans at greatest risk for cardiovascular disease and stroke. The program serves 26 sites across Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Colleton, Williamsburg, Marion, Clarendon and Georgetown counties.
