The UJA-Federation of New York world's largest local philanthropy who focuses on improving the quality of life among Jews and all New Yorkers of all backgrounds, has broke fundraising records totaling $46 million.
The fundraising was held at the federation's 2014 Annual Campaign kickoff event at the home of Merryl and James Tisch. The event brought philanthropic leaders from the New York Jewish Community, where Rt. Hon. Tony Blair, former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was the guest speaker.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
