The Summit Area Public Foundation recently announced two grants awarded to the city of Summit.
The grants are part of the more than $1 million funds presented to various organizations in the past two years. A $12,500 was granted to City Administrator Chris Cotter to continue the Senior Connections bus service. The other $8,400 grant will be used by the Department of Community Programs summer camp program for underprivileged children.
