Cherokee Preservation Foundation has awarded 22 new grants amounting to nearly $2 million to support cultural preservation, economic development, job creation and environmental preservation.
The grant recipients include: EBCI Cooperative Extension Service, Big Cove Community Club, Cherokee Central Schools, Greater Cherokee Tourism Council, Asheville Art Museum, Land Trust for the Little Tennessee and North Carolina State University.
