The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts has recently announced that it is planning to auction its entire collection of Warhols and work almost exclusively on supporting other arts groups.
The organization is expected to garner some $100-million by selling thousands of paintings, prints, photographs, and drawings through an exclusive arrangement with auction house Christie’s.
