The Los Angeles Harbor Community Benefit Foundation has awarded $350,000 worth of grants aimed at treating asthma and cardiopulmonary diseases caused by emissions spewed from the Port of Los Angeles.
Four Harbor Area groups to receive the grants are as follows: The Children's Clinic; the Tzu Chi Medical Foundation; the Long Beach Alliance for Children with Asthma and the Wilmington Health Center.
