The Ford Foundation awarded their first round of grants in a new five-year, $50 milllion initiative aimed to strengthen and diversify global human rights movement to face challenges of a changing world.
The seven human rights organizations receiving money grants are Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development; Centro de Estudios de Derecho, Justicia y Soledad; Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales; Conectas Direitos Humanos; Justica Global; Kenya Human Rights Commission; and Legal Resources Centre.
