The Kenosha Community Foundation awarded 24 various organizations through out Kenosha County with grants totaling $79,750.
Some beneficiaries of the grants were: The Sharing Center in Trevor as a support for the center's food distribution program; The Sharing Center for their Personal Hygiene Program; Western Kenosha County for the Senior Citizens Council's ceramic program; and the Parks Commission of the Village of Silver Lake to help fund a community garden.
